Sikkim Government College, Namchi, 18.08.2023: A recruitment related information programme was conducted at the auditorium of Sikkim Government College, Namchi by the Indian Army for the fifth semester students of all the streams of SGC, Namchi. The speaker for the programme was Col. Anil Kumar Sharma. The speaker informed the students about various levels in which the recruitment is done by the Indian Army. Information was imparted about the entry level jobs as well as of the officer level. The various examinations and their patterns were also discussed. A discussion was made about short service commission and regular service commission. Information about the pay packages, perks and privileges in the army were given to the students. The speaker also imparted information about the Agni Veer Scheme. The programme ended with students asking doubts and clarifications. Over all it was a very fruitful and informative programme for the students
